As a courtesy to China which hosts the 2010 GEO Plenary and Ministerial Summit we hope to establish the Wenchuan event supersite, providing the chinese geohazard community with complete SAR data sets to accurately measure post-seismic deformation. Such measurements are critical to better assess the current earthquake hazard in the Wenchuan region. Research institutions who have collected in-situ data sets (e.g. seismic and GPS) are invited to make them available to the international community via the Supersites to further stimulate fundamental research of the region. Please contact Susanna Gross at Unavco if you have potentially useful data sets (supersites@unavco.org).
