The team will also execute test case scenarios against the current implementation of GEOSS. The findings will be reviewed by the GEO Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group, followed by the GEO Executive Committee.

The study will conclude in May 2011. The Evaluation Team members represent Australia, Brazil , Canada, Germany,  Italy, Japan, Norway, Pakistan , South Africa,  and the United States.

The primary audience for the evaluation report is the GEO Plenary and the ministers of GEO member countries. The final report of this second evaluation will be made available to this audience through the normal distribution channels for Plenary and Summit documents.
